Starting with braces

First Consultation – Finding What’s Right for You
During your first consultation, orthodontist Nikos Karpitsaris takes the time to carefully assess your teeth, jaws, and facial structure.

He listens to your wishes and expectations and discusses your medical background to get a clear understanding of your situation.

He’ll explain the possible treatment options in clear, understandable language and what you can expect from each. Sometimes, treatment isn’t necessary or effective just yet, for example, if you still have several baby teeth to lose.

In that case, we’ll make clear follow-up arrangements so you can return at the right time. Our goal is always to create a well-considered, personalised plan, focused entirely on what you need.

Comprehensive Examination & Personalised Treatment Plan

A detailed and accurate treatment plan starts with a thorough examination. During this appointment, we take several X-rays, photographs, and perform a 3D scan of your teeth. This allows us to map out exactly what your teeth and jaws need.

You’ll always receive a clear cost estimate in advance, so you know exactly what to expect. We recommend checking your insurance coverage before your first consultation.

Once the examination is complete, you can schedule a follow-up appointment at the reception desk. Using all the collected data, orthodontist Nikos Karpitsaris will prepare a personalised treatment plan tailored to your unique needs.

Discussing Your Treatment Plan – Taking the Next Step Together

When your treatment plan is ready, we’ll invite you for a discussion appointment. During this visit, we’ll go over the details together, explaining:

  • which braces or appliances will be needed;
  • the advantages and possible alternatives;
  • and the estimated treatment duration.

You’ll also receive a detailed cost overview, so there are no surprises along the way. There’s plenty of time to ask questions, we want you to feel fully informed, comfortable, and confident before starting your orthodontic journey.
